Interaction Surface

The following section will show you how to create an interaction surface.

Rebar

Define the position of the rebars inside the concrete section defining their position.

Layer

Define the position of the rebars using a reference line and the number of points to be place along the line.

Patch

Define the section boundaries drawing a flat surface.

Interaction surface on section

The component will create a dummy beam that FEM-Design will use to compute the interaction surface. The output is given as a Mesh Geometry.

Interaction surface on bar

The component will compute the interaction surface for a given beam. Make sure that your beam has a concrete section and reinforcement assign to it.
